Day 8 – Meat Cove – Spectacular Coastal Scenery
Meat Cove Mountain
It was day to explore and experience the spectacular coastal scenery that Meat Cove hiking trails has to offer. It began with the Meat Cove mountain hike which offer two outstanding views from either direction of the big rock. At lunch time, many hikers walked the boardwalk trail down to the beach and the ocean surf.

In the afternoon, hikers enjoyed the Meat Cove Look-off trail and Little Grassy trail which offer different and unique views of the coastal community. Many thanks to the folks at Meat Cove Welcome Centre & Derrick MacLellan for hosting us during the day of hiking at Meat Cove. The day ended with a social and entertainment by Gladstone & Henry Briand.
