This is a new hiking trail that is expected to be open Sept. 5, 2015. The trail involves a gradual climb through Acadien and boreal forest to taiga barrens, as well panoramic views of highlands plateau. Hikers will have the opportunity to enjoy 4 viewing platforms, Mica Hill Lake as well see mica rock (shiny) and white quartz. In the summer, you will also see pitcher plants. The first 2 kms are on well groomed surface while the last 2 kms are back country surface.
Length : 8 km return, Time: 3-4 hrs
