Hiker Trish McCormick recently informed me that Hike the Highlands Festival has been recognized as a Nova Scotia Must by Allan Lynch in his new book (2008) ” Nova Scotia – Book of Musts -” the 101 Places every Nova Scotian Must See”. Trish is one of Hike the Highlands festival’s biggest promoters and also enjoys entering CBC radio contests.
Thanks to her and many other hikers word got out and Hike the Highlands Festival was included in this book – “Nova Scotia – Book of Musts” by Allan Lynch. Word of mouth continues to be our biggest form of advertising with this festival. Thank-you hikers for this honor.
