Hikers who like taking pictures find it hard to use poles and be able to access their camera quickly. Recently, I found two interesting gadgets for hikers – the strapshot and stickpic. Could make for some great Christmas gifts.

The stickpic is a gadget that allows you to connect your camera to the hiking pole. It is great tool for shooting videos and for still photos you use the timer on your camera. The stickpic retails for $13.99 (US). Not sure of the cost for shipping to Canada.
