The height is 1306 feet. Located on the west coast of Cape Breton Island just east of Grand Étang Harbour. Access is via a dirt road that reaches a pass just southeast of the summit. The summit offers great views of Grand Étang, Chéticamp, Margaree, Chéticamp Island and Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
It is a one hour hike to the top and less time for coming back down. It is a four wheeler trail with rough sections here and there. It is a steep climb but the incredible views on top are so much worth it.
This hike is for avid hikers who can handle steep climbs. You should be in good physical shape. Someone who is not used to hiking should not come on this hike. This hike requires hiking boots and poles are recommended.
