2018 Hike the Highlands Festival
2018 REGISTRATION FEES below. Online Registration will be opening on Monday, May 7th at 8:00 am. The first 100 hikers who register online (sorry a daily pass does not count but all the others below do) will receive a 15th Anniversary gift (see below) – a special whistle/led light on a lanyard. This gift must be picked up at Festival Headquarters 35981 Cabot Trail, Ingonish, NS during the festival. Bring your ticket.
Hike the Highlands Festival & Park Pass Only
Individual – $110.00
Couples – $175.00
Family – $200.00
Note: In 2018, Cape Breton Highlands National Park Passes are free to 17 years old & younger.
Hike the Highlands Festival Pass only ( you have a park pass) :
Individual – $90.00
Couples – $130.00
Family – $140.00

Note: * All hikes in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park require a park entry pass.

You will have 3 options to register and pay :
1) online registration & payment ,
2) at festival headquarters in Ingonish (see hours of operation below) and3)
3) at the trailhead.
a) 1st – register for your hikes online Print a copy of the hikes you registered for before clicking submit.
b) 2nd – Proceed now to pay your registration fee online 1) Click tickets, a window will come up 2) Then Pick the pass you want to purchase. example – ie. Individual, Couple or Family Festival Pass with National Park Entry Pass,
c) Make sure in the quantity column on the right is on number one. Then click checkout. Our festival use the eventbrite online registration system with paypal.
d) You have two options to pay – 1) Paypal or 2) or with your credit card. Follow the steps it asked.
e) Next complete billing information, then click on review order & continue button
f) Next if everything looks in order, click pay now.
g) You will receive two e-mails, 1) one from paypal indicating payment was sent to Hike the Highlands Festival Society(organizers) by using paypal, 2) an e-mail from Eventbrite that allows you access to your ticket information and print your ticket/receipt
Option 2 – The festival headquarters is located at St. John’s Hall, 35981 Cabot Trail, Ingonish. The 2018 schedule and hours the registration desk is open are as follows :

Option 3 – Register at Trail head 30 minutes before the hike starts. Please have the correct amount of registration fee with you. Registration people at Trail heads generally don’t carry change with them.
