Birding Workshop & Field Trip – June 14

On Saturday, June 14th beginning at 9:00 am., there will be a birding workshop and field trip at the North Highlands Community Museum in Cape North. This workshop and field trip is sponsored by Nova Scotia Bird Society, Cape Breton Highlands National Park, Maritimes Breeding Bird Atlas and North Highlands Community Museum.

At this workshop you will discover how to locate and identify the region’s many bird species. Find out about the Cape Breton Highlands numerous birding hotspots and rarities. Learn about the Maritime Breeding Bird Atlas and how you can participate. And meet other birders for a great day of birding.

The schedule looks like this – presentations in the morning by Nova Scotia Bird Society, Cape Breton Highlands National Park, and Maritime Breeding Atlas, lunch break and a field trip in the afternoon concluding at 2:30pm.  Seating is limited so please contact Marie Stradeski at 285-3009 or e-mail at marie.stradeski@pc.gc..ca to register.
