Hike the Highlands Festival - Sept. 12-21
Hike the Highlands Festival starts on Friday, Sept. 12 with the Freshwater Lake evening hike at 6:00 pm. Lyn Elliott, and Lisa Dixon, will be your guides with Kristan Chin your sweep.
Following the hike our opening ceremonies begin at 8:00 pm. at Heather room, Glenghorm Beach Resort, Ingonish. Opening ceremonies features highlights from last year – a photo slide show with music, updates on this year’s festival and a networking (meet and greet) session with hikers, guides & sweeps. After opening ceremonies hikers are welcome to enjoy Celtic Entertainment – Larry MacAskill and Tracy Cavanaugh in the Thirsty Hikers Pub, Glenghorm Beach Resort.
