Cape Breton Highlands 3 Peaks Challenge, July 20, 2013
How to register?
Introduction – The Cape Breton Highlands 3 Peaks Challenge is a unique team event involving four hikers on a team with one being the captain. Teams must hike three mountains in one day. The registration fee for 2013 event will be $150.00 per team. Registration fee includes a national park entry pass for each team member, a souvenir t-shirt for each member , a Cape Breton Highlands National Park topographical map for each team member, and closing reception & prizes. All hikes are in the Cape Breton Highland National Park this year and require a park entry pass. Our event is getting a group rate from the National Park.
Online registration is a two step process – 1) Register your team online , 2) pay online by credit card or paypal ( see below). For those who don’t like paying online – you can make a cheque payable to “Hike the Highlands Festival Society” for $150.00 and mail to Hike the Highlands Festival Society, c/o # Peaks Challenge, P.O. Box 239, Ingonish, NS B0C 1K0. Please provide the names of your team members and t-shirts sizes with your cheque.
a) 1st register your team online
b) Next pay your team team registration fee . Our event use the eventbrite online registration system with paypal. Proceed now to pay your registration fee online
c) Make sure in the quantity column on the right is on number one. Use the arrow key and pick the number and highlight it with your mouse.
d) Next click on the icon you are going to pay with – visa, mastercard etc. This takes you to Paypal. You have two options you can pay with your paypal account or by your credit card. If you are going to pay by credit card – click continue.
e) Next complete billing information, then click on review order & continue button
f) Next if everything looks in order, click pay now.
g) You will receive 3 e-mails, 1) one from paypal indicating payment was sent to Hike the Highlands Festival Society(organizers) by using paypal, 2) an e-mail from Eventbrite that allows you access to your ticket information and 3) an e-mail from Hike the Highlands Festival Society (organizers) verifying your order confirmed and your receipt.
Off line Registration & Payment – For those who don’t like paying online – you can make a cheque payable to “Hike the Highlands Festival Society” for $150.00 and mail to Hike the Highlands Festival Society, c/o 3 Peaks Challenge, P.O. Box 239, Ingonish, NS B0C 1K0. Please provide the names of your team members and t-shirts sizes with your cheque.
