““One in four people in Britain experience mental health problems each year, but spending time outdoors can reduce the risk of depression by 30%.””

                                                                                                           — Mind, The Mental Health Charity

Canada and US are experiencing almost the same mental health numbers and most people screened positive for symptoms of depression, anxiety or posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms. I suspect COVID-19 panedmic, Russia & Ukraine war, inflation- fuel prices, food costs, shipping costs etc are all playing a part.

In an article by Louis Delagram – How does Nature Impact our our well being? ” , he states – Nature Heals, Nature Soothes, Nature Restores and Nature Connects.

Mountains for the Mind, a charitable organization in UK,  is a campaign from Trail magazine promoting the benefits of being outside for better mental health. Check out their website to find out more important information and learn from their stories.
