Sugarloaf Mountain

Sugarloaf Mountain trail was guided by local Mike Fitzgerald and Sandra Curtis with sweepers Rob MacDonald and Sheldon Lambert. Seventeen hikers enjoyed the guided hike today along with Wally Hayes, NS Tourism Deptartment photographer and multi media specialist. Wally will be featuring a number of pictures of this trail & others during the 30th Annual TIANS (Tourism Industry of NS) conference, Nov. 25-27 in Halifax. Today’s evening presentation Acadian Frolic was enjoyed by Hikers at the Cheticamp Outdoor Theatre.

Tomorrow’s forecast, Sept. 18, is sunny with a high of 18 degrees.  Salmon Pool and Acadien guided hikes start at 10:00am tomorrow. Hikers require a park entry pass to use the National Park trails.
