Day 3 -Virtual Festival

Boughton Island, PEi by Freda Smit-MckieDay 3 of the virtual festival had sunny and fall temperatures making it great hiking weather. Some of the Cape Breton hikers ventured to Humes Falls, Benjies Lake and Squirrel Mountain. Many of the PEI hikers hiked around Boughton Island. Some of the Ottawa Hikers did trails in Greenbelt at Gatineau Park, and urban trails. Joyce in NL, did Historic Train Site and Museum on Riverside Drive to Old man in the Mountain. It is along the Humber River. Thanks to the many hikers sharing their stories and photos.

Today’s presentation was “The Island Walk -(PEI) 700 km over 32 days with Bryson Guptill, Island Trails. Learn about PEI’s newest long distance trail that is expected to be open in 2021.
