Leaves Coming Out

The grass is almost all green and the leaves are coming out on the trees. It is starting to warm up and people are coming outside to enjoy nature. The long weekend has come and gone and people are travelling and visiting communities along the Cabot Trail.
The Cape Breton Highlands National Park open on the long weekend with most trails & facilities open. Both Visitor Centres at Cheticamp & Ingonish were busy welcoming visitors and providing information on the National Park. The black flies are back but thanks to the wind allowed hikers to enjoy the trails.
