Plaster Provincial Park Hiking Trail without Snow

June 1, 2008 By Tom Wilson Uncategorized

I had the opportunity to hike Plaster Provincial Park trail, part of the Nova Scotia Provincial Parks system,  recently without snow. I hiked this trail earlier with my wife in March. My impression has not changed one bit. This is a great little trail that has scenery, look-offs, and much more. It takes 40 minutes to an hour to complete depending on stops for pictures and if you explore the beach area when the tide is out. The trail is located in a provincial picnic park on the North Shore in Victoria County. So take your lunch and enjoy the park – I did.  This is one of the new trails featured in the 2008 Hike the Highlands Festival.

Below are a few pictures I took while out on my hike.
