Tonight’s Presentation or activity – “Hike Nova Scotia : What’s new and exciting in hiking in NS by Janet Barlow, Executive Director, HIKENS Interest in hiking continues to hold after the increase from the pandemic. There are some new initiatives and developments as a result.

Janet joined the Hike NS board back in 2007 when the organization first formed and eventually became Executive Director. She has worked for 25 years in Nova Scotia’s nonprofit sector in project management, policy development, outdoor recreation, active transportation, nature education and hiking and trails. Hike NS encourages and promotes a growing hiking culture throughout our great province. www.hikenovascotia.ca

Trek through this thought provoking engaging snapshot and create your next moments with intention and gratitude.

Ann Worth is based in Bonshaw, Prince Edward Island and  is a business owner, consummate connector, economic developer and passionate about helping her clients succeed.  She brings over 35 years of business experience in various areas including entrepreneurship, international trade, marketing and communications, retail, manufacturing, agriculture, fisheries, and tourism.  For the past 18 years as President of Worth Consulting Group, Ann has provided  professional consulting services to leaders across multiple areas of business operations with a focus on enhancing operational performance to achieve growth. She has also served in various leadership positions in the not for profit and private sector. She is an avid volunteer including Atlantic Chair of the Nature Conservancy of Canada. She participates frequently in events for charity including most recently the Easter Seals Drop Zone, rappelling down the outside of the tallest building in Atlantic Canada – 1801 Hollis Street Halifax.  There is never a boring day by design!  Her motto: Go Get It!
